A vehicle was stopped on the main Suffolk road at Risby, near Bury St Edmunds.

The driver of the van has previously been stopped for two overweight infractions, according to Norfolk & Suffolk Roads and the Armed Policing Team.

When the vehicle was stopped, it was discovered to be half a ton over the limit.

The vehicle had been dealt with for infractions, and the driver had received penalties, according to police.
